Introduction to pavucontrol-qt

pavucontrol-qt is the Qt port of the volume control utility pavucontrol, which is used to adjust audio levels in Pulseaudio. It is desktop environment agnostic.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 12.4 platform.

liblxqt-2.3.0 and PulseAudio-17.0 (built with GLib-2.86.2 support)

Installation of pavucontrol-qt

Prepare pavucontrol-qt by running the following commands: 

cmake -B build -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release  \
      -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr
cmake --build build

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now Install the package, as the root user: 

cmake --install build
